About The Winemaker

Move over Central Otago, Great Southern Western Australia is our pick for the next legendary new world pinot region. Owned and operated by renowned pioneers of the Margaret River region, Founders of Moss Wood a driving force in establishing Margaret River as one of Australia's important growing regions. When we met Dan for a tasting we found him to be incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, but at the same time a down to earth character and a true farmer at heart. Picardy Wines truly are an embodiment of the wine makers passion.

Grand Cru Review

A Pinot Noir with some serious depth. Fuller than your average Burgundy, but not lacking in quality. A mellow musty nose with touches of mulled wine, herbs, and blue cheese. The Palate is savoury showing delicate red cherries over fine tannin. A beautiful wine, that we can't get enough of!
